Abrams Falls
Named for a Cherokee Chief (Abram) who lived nearby, Abrams Falls is a relatively short but high volume waterfall that spills into Great Smoky Mountains National Park’s largest natural pool. With so much water cascading down the jutting rocks, Abrams Falls can be heard long before it is seen.
Because of its easy access from Abrams Falls Trail and its large water volume, Abrams Falls is one of the most visited waterfalls within Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
Directions: Abrams Falls can be accessed from Cades Cove within the Tennessee side of the Great Smoky Mountains. More info below.
